There are two important items in the pilot’s outfit and gear requirement that need top priority and special attention. The first one is the aviation headset. There are many brands and even more models to choose from in today’s market. It would be helpful to heed the experienced pilots’ advice on this matter. A number of them would recommend the lightspeed zulu headset. It remains to be a favorite on account of its durability and comfort. Only few are at par with Lightspeed in terms of being able to provide quality headset. And fortunately, among them, Lightspeed is able to offer competitive prices if not most affordable.
The second aspect in aviation get-up is the all-important uniform. No, it is not about creating a fashion statement. It has more to do with the technical requirements that are necessary in this profession. These days, pilot uniforms come equipped with special features like compression. It would not be surprising to hear about compression socks. Normally, socks would need to have a compression capacity of about fifteen to twenty millimeters. Of course, it goes without saying even these socks come in a series of sizes to satisfy everyone’s requirements. Neither experienced pilot nor training hopefuls leave outfits, especially not with the socks, to chance. And this is not only because it happens to be a trend or the “in” thing in fashion but more because the use of compression socks has a lot to do with comfortability and better blood circulation especially during flights.
